Post a discussion explaining which of these theoretical bases you believe is most applicable to the current socioeconomic conditions of Americans today. Include specific issues of socioeconomic status and "life chances" that are most pressing in your perspective. Life chances refers to the idea of "what are the chances that you one can fulfill his/her full potential as a member of society?". The application of this idea can be used to discuss types of inequality, how the economy works to stratify, and/or the inequality existing in the workplace.
