Project - Specific Design Parameters

LOAD REQUIREMENTS:
Speed (+0/-0.5%) 640 RPM Clockwise when viewed from outboard side of gearbox.

(Round to 0 significant figures, apologies for any format issue)

Torque (max) 243.5 Nm
(Round to 1 significant figure, apologies for any format issue)
This is a belt conveyor and the load can be considered to be constant wrt speed.

Duty: 12 hours per day continuous operation, 5 days per week, 330 days per year, 10 years.

FLEXIBLE DRIVE CONNECTION FROM MOTOR TO GEARBOX INPUT SHAFT:
Minimum drive ratio , mG,: 1.25
Note this should be the aim ratio noting the actual ratio will need to result in the speed of the load achieving the requirement speed.
Efficiency(assume): 0.99

GEARS:
Required Ratio, mG, must be within the range of 3 to 5.

PINION:
hand: LH

Active Facewidth: 33mm; Normal tooth size: 1.5m
Normal Pressure Angle: 20 degrees

Helix Angle: 16.122599999999998 degrees
(use to 4 significant figures, apologies for format issue)

GEAR (WHEEL)
Facewidth 36mm

Gearbox Efficiency to be assumed to be 0.98
Please advise if there are any apparent errors or omissions in the data provided.
