I currently work at a primary care clinic which offers family practice, urgent care, and specialized care such as sports medicine, dermatology, and ENT. My workplace is provider-owned and operated with over 20 clinics in the area. I would describe my workplace as being a clinical service-line management delivery pattern, it focuses on providing evidence-based comprehensive patient care, cost-effective care and encounters that improve the patients experience (Louis, 2019). Providers must work together and decide what it is the community needs and how to best deliver that care in the most effective way. They also need to communicate with other specialties to give the most comprehensive care to a patient without driving up costs. Nurses can specialize their care based on the patients' needs within the area they work they are able to focus and tailor their care working alongside providers in a close environment.
