INFORMATIVE SPEECH ASSIGNMENT:

Take a step into the future. You are many years older. Some of you have lost your hair, many have beautiful homes, family type cars, and LARGE mortgages. Welcome to the reality of the working world. Your boss thinks highly of you because you go above and beyond in your responsibilities at the office. As a result of your outstanding job performance and your excellent communication skills, you have been asked to make a presentation at the annual seminar/workshop offered to employees.

Select a topic that is in some way related to your chosen field of employment. Assume that we in the class are your co-workers and know as much about the chosen field of employment as you do. However, you have something interesting to share with the rest of us that will be enlightening and beneficial to our success in the same field. PLEASE NOTE: You are to approach this assignment as if we are all already working in the same career area. Provide a presentation that is informative (not persuasive). You may use visual aids if you feel that this would enhance your delivery. Plan to speak between 5 and 8 minutes. Also, you need to cite at least threesources during your presentation.
