Survey on my opinion is a very important way of gathering information, some of the survey instruments are questionnaire, opinionnaire, schedule, and case study. The advantage of a survey is that they are easy to administer and inexpensive were they are standardized instructions and questions they provide economy of time and the data can be collected from a large geographical area.

Interviews are a great way to gather information as well, they are well used to obtain attitudes, beliefs, or opinions and to gain information. Interviews provide flexibility where questions can be clarified or explained and complete data can be collected.

Focus group is also very important. A group interview on a specific topic. Used in qualitative studies to gather info about the topic. Saves time over individual interviews. Comments can trigger other thoughts. Lots of data though, experienced facilitator required, and the researcher may have a bias.
