Question1. George plans to invest 2000$ in a bank for two years that gives compound interest. He finds that different banks provide different rates of interest. Assume the rate of interest to be ‘x’ & find the amount ‘y’ that would be in the bank after two years. What would be the amount in Fleet bank at the end of two years, if Fleet bank provides an interest rate of 6%?

Question2: The path of a falling object is given by the function s= -16t2 + v0t + s0 where v0 represents the initial velocity in ft/sec & s0 represent the initial height.  The variable t is time in seconds, & s is the height of the object in feet.

A. How high is the rock after 0.5 seconds?  Show all work.
B. What is the maximum height?  Show all work.
C. After how many seconds will the rock reach maximum height?  Show all work.
