Objective -

I. Identify organizational problems that can be solved using two-or-more-variable inference.

2. Map the problems identified with the right statistical inferential analysis.

3. Use an appropriate statistical tool to perform the analysis necessary and communicate the solution to the business person charged with solving the organizational problem identified.

For each of the following business situations, write an executive summary following the guidelines in the "Instructions for completing case assignments" document. For all hypothesis tests, use α = 0.05 and include a statement of the type I and type II errors in the business context with the costs of making the errors. Combine all four executive summaries into a single Word document. This is an ungraded assignment and it will be discussed in class in a summary format. Individual students may also be asked to report on their case analysis in class.
