This discussion is actually a summary and reaction to an article entitled "Love in the time of hooking up." The trend of casual sex and no-strings-attached sexual experimentation is evaluated and discussed.

The old saying "you reap what you sow" comes to mind as I read this article. For years we have taught children in our public schools that they are products of chance and random mutations. We teach that we and monkeys are 98% the same and that we are only a highly evolved animal. The logical outcome of this type of philosophy and teaching is that we aspire to behave as animals. We take what we want, act out our feelings and let the chips fall where they may.
