Social workers should not engage in sexual activities, inappropriate sexual communications through the use of technology or in person, or sexual contact with clients, whether such contact is consensual or forced as long as the client is engaged in a clinical relationship within five years of termination of services as long as the client maintains a relationship with the clinician's agency or organization at any time once a clinical contact is made.
