Social media and background check
Studies conducted in the field indicate that many companies use social networks as a source of information at the time of the background check, also known as the "background check". This action has caused controversy, because on the one hand many people consider that this lends itself to the invasion of the privacy of the candidates, but on the other, the employers understand that social networks and much of the information that is in the Internet is considered public.
Write an essay about the development of the selection program. The length of the essay should be one (1) page at least one and a half pages (1.5) maximum. Take as a guide the following elements:
Introduction - Presents the central idea of ??the topic to work. According to your understanding and other sources, how do you carry out a background check without violating the candidate's ethics or invasion of privacy?
Body - Mention briefly in your words if you agree that employers use different social networks as a source of information when they perform background checks and explain why or why not. Is the information that can be obtained from a social network reliable to help the employer decide on the possible hiring of a candidate? Present your development from the point of view of a possible candidate and another from the point of view of the employer.
Conclusion - Retake the most relevant aspects contained in the body of the writing, your personal opinions, provide a critical judgment and emphasize social media and background checks in the selection process.
Remember that you must always provide where you get the information (references)
