Deliver a group oral role play according to the requirements.
Assessment Description
Background: Using social media analytics in marketing strategy Group oral role play
Task: Your organisation requires your group to appear before the Board of Directors and discuss your recommendations on using social media analytics to achieve specific marketing goals. Students will play the following roles: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Data Officer (CDO) and Chief Ethical Officer (CEthO). All members of the group must present in order to receive marks for Assessment #3.
Task: After the meeting with the Board of Directors, new information emerges, and your group must write a report on how each of the five executive officers will respond.
For both the oral role play and the written report, all group members will earn the same marks for Assessment #3 unless there has not been an equal contribution made by certain group members, in which case their marks may be adjusted. Assessment Instructions
By Week 11, form groups of 5 students and inform your facilitator of these groups. If you have not formed groups by this time, your facilitator will randomly assign you to a group.
You will be provided with a case study at the beginning of Week 12 class. Your group will then be given 30 minutes to prepare your oral role play. Afterwards, groups will deliver their oral role plays.
After the group role plays have been given, your facilitator will provide you with new information that you must address in your group written report.
1. Does not discuss why the role being played is relevant to the case study
2. Is generic in playing the role by not linking it to the specific details in the case study or to the main responsibilities held by the role with little to no mention of the new information provided.
