Question

Studies show the correlation between social disparities and their negative effects on health. If a patient encounters one disparity, it is quite possible they will encounter others. Therefore, it is important for the community nurse to be a resource for this patient population. One important, fundamental intervention for the community nurse is education. We know knowledge is power.
