Question

The philosopher John Rawls states that the basic social arrangement is an agreed-on con- tract to advance the goodwill of all who are in the society. In this communal effort, all would work toward equal distribution of goods and services unless an unequal distribution would serve to everyone's advantage. Others have argued that when this view of an enlightened collective social protection is added to the fair opportunity rule, you can begin to see an actual right to health care. What is your opinion in regard to a right to health care?
