Experimental: Verify Snell's Lam of refraction by tracing and measuring the direction of refracted light rays through a change in medium.

Prediction Question:

1. Referring to Figure I. Imagine a light ray is aimed directly along the normal line. Use Equation (3) to describe what happens to the light upon entering and leaving the dish. Include a sketch.

2. Referring to Figure 1. Imagine a light ray is in medium 2 (the bottom medium) and is aimed up directly along the ray that is now in medium 2. Use Equation (3) to describe what happens to the light upon leaving the dish. Include a sketch.
