Question - Decision making, leadership and change management - case study (14 marks) Case study: As the Vice Chancellor (VC) of Western Sydney University in Australia, you are required to manage the easing of the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions for the delivery of university subjects. This has resulted in a decision to temporarily move teaching from online delivery only to a hybrid delivery system. Teaching staff are to deliver 50% of the classes through online platforms from their homes and 50% will be delivered face to face in the classrooms. This is to ensure students are able to continue their education and staff remain employed. As the VC, you are to develop plans to improve decision making, change and innovation, and operations for WSU during this time.
