Jennifer Turner is a 61 year old nurse who began her career as a 16 year old assistant nurse . After two years as an assistant , Jennifer qualified to become a trainee nurse. When Jennifer began her nursing career, all training was conducted in what were called teaching hospitals where she was mentored, supervised and taught on the job by experienced nurses. Following completion of a two-year course Jennifer now aged 21 was appointed to a small country hospital where two years later she met and married her husband, Ben who worked for the local shire council.
