PURPOSE:

This assignment is meant to simulate two important steps in the hiring process, identifying the criterion for hiring and designing interview questions around that criterion.

Step 1: Select a company that has offices in either Europe or Asia; and a job at that company to recruit for (Important: this will require candidates to relocate overseas to either Asia or Europe)

Step 2: Complete a JOB REQUIREMENTS MATRIX (JRM)

• Using the JRM Matrix complete with the following information:
o A list of the 7 main duties of the job
o A list of the required knowledge, Skills, Abilities or other Attributes (KSAOs) to perform the position
o It is essential that research is undertaken to identify competencies required for candidates to be successful in an overseas placement

Step 3: Complete the INTERVIEW SCRIPT TEMPLATE

• Write 7 interview questions
• Must use the Interview Script Template
• Questions must be related to job duties and KSAOs outlined in JRM
• Must have one behavioural based and one situational interview question
• Must include benchmark answers that include the ideal attitudes and behaviours desired for each question
