Question 1: In this project, you will simulate the transient control response of the Type-3wind energy conversion system depicted in Fig. 1 of the paper reference below. Usescripted MATLAB or MATLAB/Simulink to implement the vector control algorithmdiscussed in section III of the paper (and during lecture) to obtain the transient responses shown in Fig. 3 of the paper. Your simulation must include a transientelectrical machine model for the DFIG and switching-level power-electronic control ofthe rotor side converter (RSC) via PWM. Use parameter values and command inputsgiven in the paper. You can assume that the voltage input to the RSC is a constantvoltage source with Vdc = 120 V.
