Python scripting or bash scripting:
It is based on open air 5G air interface. I have cloned a repository which happens to be a develop branch from open source.
I have changes made to the source code but before commiting my changes to main source code in my internal gitlab repository, I need to perform regression tests for particular set of precheck conditions mentioned below:
1. Write a python script or bash script to perform regression tests for committing source code.
2. Include the following conditions:
• Check if the build is working
• The phy or physical simulator is running without crashing.
• Check if BER (Bit error rate) =0 for particular high signal to noise ratio (SNR) and Modulation and coding scheme (MCS).
• Check if BLER (Block error rate) =0 for particular high signal to noise ratio (SNR) and Modulation and coding scheme (MCS)
Physical Simulators (physical layer simulator) in OAI (Open air interface):
- Physical simulators are a set of tools allowing to simulate mostly physical layer procedures, eg. channel coding and transport channels.
- Transport channel simulators: PBCHSIM, PRACHSIM, PUCCHSIM, DLSCHSIM, ULSCHSIM - Coding simulators: LDPCtest, polartest, smallblocktest .
- L1/L2 simulators: DLSIM, ULSIM.
- Physical simulators can be used to test and debug features, evaluate performances.

- build_oai -phy_simutators (-sanitize-address)
- make nr_pbchsim (from ran_build/build)
- Physical simulators are configurable via command line parameter
- -h to show help listing the options for given simulator
- Among the configuration options: SNR and channel modeling
- default channel option is AWGN
