Objective - The goal of this research study is to understand the working of SDN and NFV simulate the working in lab and do the research analysis of industry implementation. To be more specific the study points out the objective of this project as follows:

Design, Program, simulate and implement software define network and network function virtualization applications.
Differentiate and evaluate software defined networking architecture, controller environment, application programming interfaces and platforms.
Use tools for modelling software defined network and network function virtualization technologies.
Different project investigations that have been implemented under SDN & NFV and understand their behaviour.

This study will provide valuable learning in understanding of SDN and NFV and its implementation.

Hypothesis/question - There is vital need to understanding on how SND and NFV can enhance the network performance and save lot energy used in traditional computing.

The research questions are as follows:

1) What are current challenges in implementing SDN and NFV in various industries?

2) What is the characteristic of SDN and NFV?

3) What is the design principle required to implement a sustainable SDN and NFV network?

4) How can SDN & NFV can improve the performance of network?
