A simple pendulum has period T on the surface of Earth. When taken to planet X, the same planet has period 2T.

a) If the radius of planet X is half the radius of Earth, what is the mass of planet X, relative to mass of the planet Earth?

b) Assume a vertical mass and a spring oscillator has period T on Earth. What period would the oscillator have on planet X? Describe.
