QUESTION TWO:Fragmentation "(1) Refers to the condition of a disk in which files are divided into pieces scattered around the disk. Fragmentation occurs naturally when you use a disk frequently, creating, deleting, and modifying files. At some point, the operating system needs to store parts of a file in noncontiguous clusters. This is entirely invisible to users, but it can slow down the speed at which data is (sic) accessed because the disk drive must search through different parts of the disk to put together a single file." Describe why files might be stored in non-contiguous locations and how defragmentation reduces the number of non-contiguous clusters on a hard drive. Be sure to cite your research sources.

Describe the steps of the SDLC you (and your committee) would use to go about implementing a new course management software system (e.g.to improve or replace Blackboard) at Valparaiso University. Be sure to specify your proposed committee membership and when (or if) you are able to stop the SDLC process should it prove unsatisfactory or unsuccessful.
