Question

Approximately 1 in 5 adolescents have a significant mental health problem. Unfortunately, the people that have the most contact with those adolescents (their peers!) are often not knowledgeable enough to recognize that there is a problem. Thinking back to your own adolescence, describe at least one of your peers who you now recognize was probably struggling with a mental health problem. What symptoms did they have? How did you respond? What would you do differently if you encountered someone with those symptoms today?
