A review of the use of the term is found on pages 82-83 and 176-77 in Bentley Traditions and Encounters, 4th Ed but add specifics from the different civilizations to compare and contrast. Write a response paper explaining why historians use the term "Classical" to define this period in world history. How are the different civilizations and their developments similar? How are they different? What was the significance of this period in the history of each civilization? In 350 words make it sound like a 15 year old.
