Question

Virginia is a restrictive state and a signed practice agreement and a documented protocol, as well as a licensed physician, are prerequisites for a nurse practitioner to be able to prescribe medication in Virginia. I am slightly concerned about prescribing medications to my patients due to the possibility of addiction or what is commonly seen in my own community is people selling their prescriptions.
