An integrated-circuit amplifier has an open-circuit voltage gain of 5000, an input resistance of 15 kΩ and an output resistance of 25 Ω. It is supplied from a signal source of internal resistance 5.0 kΩ and it feeds a resistive load of 175 Ω. Determine the magnitude of the signal source voltage to produce an output signal voltage of 1.0 V. What value of load resistance would halve the signal voltage output for the same input?
