Paper Goals:

This paper is the Signature Assignment of PGM105. It requires you to use all that you have learned in this class over the past 10 weeks. I would like you to pretend that you are developing a golf course. Try to use concepts and the knowledge you have gained over the past 10 weeks. Describe the course itself, the market your are located in including weather and economics of the area. Give me pricing, the course standards (or what you see the golf course looking like). Explain the basic financials of the golf course including rounds played per year and your profit. Be as creative as you can for this assignment while at the same time mentioning or using concepts we have learn during this quarter. Be sure to include what your food and beverage operation will look like. The more concepts that you describe in this paper the more understanding you are presenting to me in regards to PGM105. In the process of writing the paper, you should be able to:

Use concepts learned in this class
Show a solid product and operation.

Paper Format:

Introduce your golf course and the positions you wish to focus on (General Manager, Head Golf Professional, Superintendent etc.) as you see fit.
Show what concepts you would like to utilize at your golf course.
Give some financial metrics for your golf course (Rounds played, Profit, Total Revenues etc.)
Illustrate the type of facility you would like to develop (Private Equity Club, Public Golf Course, Non-Equity Golf Facility)
Be sure to include amenities (Spa, Salon, Tennis Courts, Pools etc.) for your club if they fit your model. Remember not all amenities work at all types of facilities.
Have some fun with this. Feel free to include some pictures
