Question -

1. Using conservation of energy, show that the speed v of an electron leaving your "electron gun" can be written in terms of the electron accelerating potential V, electron charge e and electron mass me as: v = √(2eV/me).

2. Use the equations above to show that the charge to mass ratio of the electron can be written in terms of known experimental parameters, including the radius r of the observed electron path as: e/me = 125/32 (VR202I2N2r2).
