Question: Situation where a group of objects have to be given to different individuals, one per each. Every individual has a clear preference for the items. The following is a typical approach of solving this issue: Each person's name placed in a hat. Then, one name is pulled at a time. When a name is called, that individual gets to select the item of their choice from the ones that are still on the table. The selected item is then taken away from the other individuals. Show that the final object-to-person matching is Pareto efficient, regardless of the number of individuals and objects.
