You want to design a fluorite film (n=1.44) as an anti-reflection coat for glass (n=1.62). The diagram shows your eye looking down on the fluorite and glass, along with a light ray incident on the fluorite film.

a. Show a schematic of all reflected and transmitted rays needed until two rays reach your eyes. For each ray, discuss whether it has a reflection phase-flip relative to the incident ray.

b. Suppose the incident light is red (wavelength of 660 nm). Find the minimum non-zero thickness of fluorite so that no red light reflects into your eye.
