William: My preferred way to study is by myself at night. Being alone helps me to focus in what I'm studying and waiting until nighttime allows me to get my children in to bed and lessen my possible distractions. I do tend to have either music or a television show in the backgrounds playing as I enjoy it and believe it also helps me focus. One way my habits are influenced is the show i put on typically is related to my subject matter. In the past when I've taken my various fire and ems courses I've put on related shows to focus.
