Question - Ken is a self-storage business operating across Australia. It also sells storage boxes. To encourage recycling Ken offers a 10% refund on used boxes. Does not impose a time limit on the return of used boxes.  To date, the refund amount has equalled to 20% of the sale of boxes.

By reference to the 2020 Conceptual Framework definition and recognition criteria, should recognize a liability for the refunds in the financial statements? Justify your answer.
