While off duty and at a party, Officer Boone was asked by his friend, the homeowner, to go get some ice from the homeowner's basement. Since the ice machine was not immediately apparent, Officer Boone opened two doors, and behind door two were several baggies containing cocaine. Should Officer Boone arrest his friend, the homeowner? Would you exclude the cocaine? Why or why not? What court case(s) justify your decision?
