For this assignment, you will complete a scientific article critique. First, you will find a relevant primary article from the National Strength and Conditioning Association Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. The article should cover metabolism and/or metabolic system training and must be written within the past 5 years.

Follow the instructions below and please see the attached resources for how to write an article critique and an appropriate formatted template.

1. Find an article of interest to review and critique from the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. Once you have located an article, gain full access to the document through our library at APUS.

2. Follow the suggested steps in the attached resource to read and review the article.

3. Use the attached template to complete your article critique using scientific writing. As a reminder, in scientific writing, you are to be clear and concise, not using superfluous narrative. Avoid personal opinions that cannot be backed by science (this often means avoiding I/my statements).

4. As with all assignments, follow APA formatting (see attached example for formatting help). Also, keep the limit to this critique to no more than three pages total.
