What factors would be or should be considered in choosing a site location for your organization? The answer depends on the type of facility - office or warehouse. An office is best suited for larger population centers on transportation routes which increases the availability of skilled labor. For our warehouses, suitable land is a major factor. We require large amounts of space as these facilities are consolidated and therefore lower cost of land is important. We have placed our warehouses close to sources of supply (the border with the US; rail lines and highways) because it is not important for them to be close to population centers.
