1. A department store has branches in four locations : A, B, C and D. Department Store has a Ware House at D and plans to seek the central location of the new warehouse. Store locations in A (30.120); D (130, 130), C (90, 110) and B (60.40). Total demand for containers every month for A (2000); D (1000), C (1000) and B (2000). By using equations of Center of gravity, obtain the desired central location.

2. A freight forwarder is considering three different routes to send its shipment. The first route A, costs $500. Route B and C cost $300 and $100 respectively. If each shipment provides $5 of revenue and variable costs are $2/unit, find the number of shipments required for each route to break even.
