When Marjory, a nursing assistant, stopped in to check on Eleanor, a resident, and take her vital signs, she found her coughing and sneezing. No one on her floor had been sick for awhile, but Marjory recalled that when Eleanor's granddaughter came to visit a few days ago, she had a runny nose and was coughing. Marjory noted Eleanor's condition, and then took her blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Marjory was most likely exposed to the microbe causing her illness when: a. sitting in the lounge with some other residents. b. eating a prepackaged snack in her room. c. her granddaughter coughed near her. d.
