MT is a 58-year old woan who was recently discharged from the hospital, where she was admitted for a stroke. Today, she has come to the Neurology Clinic for a follow up visit. Based on her medical records, this was her second stroke. The first one was over 10 years ago, and the last one was 2 months ago. Her main concern is "I am having trouble speaking and swallowing." She states that her tongue seems to be in the way. Initially after her most-recent hospital stay, MT had made a full recovery with a slight loss of sensation to the right side of her face.
