Problem

The Industrial Revolution took place over several decades and profoundly changed the world economy. While this was especially the case in nations that industrialized in the nineteenth century, it also greatly altered the economic, political, and military balance of power worldwide, largely in favor of Western nations. Thus, the Industrial Revolution truly impacted the entire world. Industrialization had many positive features. Yet it also created many new problems. As a result, capitalism and industrialization had their fair share of critics.

Task

As you look around your room, your home, your work, or even your classroom, you see the results of the industrial revolution. Reflect one what you see and experience, and then explain how the Industrial Revolution has improved YOUR life as a student in Ecore, providing specific examples from your work, your class, or even your daily life.
