The company has also responded with agility to the vast array of challenges ranging from state lockdowns, grounded fleets to supply and demand fluctuations. Even during the pandemic, the company consistently ensured 360-degree employee welfare by looking after not only the physical and mental health of teams but, also their families. For example, DHL Express India launched home quarantine services, tele-medical consultation, doctor-on-call facility, complete insurance coverage in case of COVID-19-related hospitalization amongst a host of other programs to ensure the well-being of its 3,200+ employees. Through the course of the pandemic, the company has also launched several online engagement programs to motivate employees and encourage workplace camaraderie amidst the new normal. DHL Express India is also increasingly focusing on Diversity and Inclusion led programs to further empower employees.
