You work in HR for Sew What - a sewing supply store with offices across Canada. Recently graduated from Niagara College, you want to improve your company's hiring process. You've suggested that all new job applicants come into the plant and perform the job for two or three hours without pay to get a first-hand look at what the job entails.

You've taken an employment law class from a brilliant, handsome genius. Ok, maybe not - but you should have learned about this stuff anyways. You tell your manager that, as long as the work is being done as part of the hiring process, it is allowed in law.

What might I have to say about this? Explain your answer fully.
