In Task Two you will create a step-by-step lesson plan to address the academic need identified in Task One. Prior to developing your plan, review the model lesson plans found in Chapter 8. They are solid examples of the level of detail needed to meet mastery criteria. Follow the Focus Procedures when writing the plan. 1. Write step-by-step instructional procedures. Number each step.
2. Describe how the multisensory activities support the identified student with dyslexia.
3. Identify the differentiated instruction accommodation(s) used in the lesson plan to meet the needs of a student with dyslexia. State whether the differentiated instruction is an example of a content accommodation, process accommodation, or product accommodation and explain how or why it is appropriate for this/these student(s).
4. Describe how the differentiated instruction should increase the student(s) learning
