How can I reply to this post A Semiotic Relationship I identified was Subway, Jared, and health. Subway acts as the object/product. The sandwiches more specifically are the primary product that is being sold. Jared Scott Fogle, known as Jared from Subway, was a famous spokesperson for the brand. He acts as the sign/image for Subway. Although subway has lost its notoriety to other competing brands, and Jared from subway is no longer a part of the campaign, he was an iconic subway figure. He lost lost 245 pounds consuming the sandwiches.

Numerous campaigns from 2000-2015 ran featuring him, and his weight loss story. This leads to the interpretant/meaning. Subway is healthy, and consuming Subway is a smart consumer decision. It can lead to weight loss, is fresh, nutritious, and good for you.
