MOMO-U is a retail chain that sells trendy apparel for teenagers. The senior HR manager in charge of recruitment is Patrick Koh. Currently, candidates are asked to provide a letter of recommendation from a previous employer. Patrick would then short-list a few candidates for an informal interview (especially those who have provided a letter of recommendation). During this so-called "chit-chat with the candidate", Patrick would attempt to size up the candidate's suitability to work as a retail assistant. But the new retail assistant who is hired would leave the job after a few weeks. He has approached you, as a consultant, for assistance to improve the current system of selecting retail assistants.
