Case Study: Cost Optimisation Strategies for Unisco

Unisco is a medium-sized Australian company which employs about 5,000 people. Unisco has its headquarter in Sydney, and has a branch office in each capital city of state/territory. Unisco has recently migrated to Amazon's cloud platform. Unisco also keeps a private cloud for security concerns. Unisco's IT infrastructure consists of a private cloud and public cloud services provided by Azamon (e.g. IaaS, PaaS, IDaaS, etc.). Private cloud is used to run business-critical applications and store business-confidential data. Public cloud is used for other general applications and data storage, in an effort to reduce expenditure on IT infrastructure. To take the advantage of reduced costs, Unisco uses following cloud services provided by Amazon AWS:

The management of Unisco is aware of the cost-saving benefits of cloud-based services. They would like to leverage the advantages of cloud services in terms of cost-saving. As an AWS-certified cloud service practitioner, you have been hired to propose cost optimisation strategies for Unisco. You are required to complete following tasks:
