Assignment Overview
You are a vulnerability assessment team leader at VulnerabilityRus Pty Ltd, located in Brisbane, Australia. Your new client is running an online dating website using WordPress running on Microsoft Web Server. Your new client has recently been subject to a cyberattack compromising their customers' personal details. Your new client is determined to secure their data website from any further cyber attacks.
In Assignment 1A, your task is to identify the potential risk and vulnerabilities of a WordPress website or Microsoft Web Server, and in Assignment 1B, you will perform a simple Penetrating Testing to identify the vulnerabilities of the client website.
Students must submit Assignment 1A, by the end of week 3. Once Assignment 1A is marked and constructive feedback is provided, the responses to the comments/feedback have to be tabulated and appended to Assignment 1B for submission in week 7.
Assignment Part A:
