Assignment Description
Lean and Six Sigma innovations have changed the way businesses compete in manufacturing and service delivery. In this assignment you will explore how these approaches to quality allowed companies such as Toyota to become industry leaders.
Read the assigned materials and respond to the provided questions. The focus of these questions is on how the principles of Lean and Six Sigma can be directly implemented as actionable business practices. In other words, you must pay attention to how the ideas behind Lean and Six Sigma may be put into action as real processes and procedures for doing business.

2. Watch the attached video, Taiichi Ohno on the Toyota Production System
