My Eight Selected Species

Mammals:  To be classified as a mammal an animal must have hair, be warm-blooded, and nourish their young with mike produced by the mother. I chose whales and dolphins for my two mammals. Whales share the uniqueness of having the largest living mammal in their group. This would be the Blue whale weighing in at around 160 metric tons and up to 94 feet in length. Whales also may have the longest life span of all mammals
