Design constraints

Fig shows the reference schematic for the design assignment. The arrangement and connection points (also called "topology") in the schematic must not be altered. V1=-5 V and V2=5 V are the supply voltages and must not be changed. No parts may be added. Your task is to select the right resistor and transistors.

1. The resistors must be standard values (see Appendix).
2. The transistors must be either BC548 (NPN) or BC558 (PNP) series (choose A, B, or C; see Appendix; I suggest picking one type in the first instance).

DC operating point

The following design targets must be met to within the said tolerance.

1. Collector current of Ic(Q3)=Ic(Q4)=1 mA (±10%).

2. Collector current of Ic(Q7)= 2 mA (+10%).

3. DC level of the output voltage V(vout) = 0V(±0.2V).

4. Use only a standard value resistor.
