Toro supplies these lawn mowers to companies such as Walmart and Kent, who in turn sells these lawn mowers to retailers. Toro signed a contract to supply 50,000 lawn mowers. Toro wants to ensure that at least 98% of the lawn mowers be free of defects. Toro managers test 210 randomly selected lawn mowers, and found 200 defective free.
-What is the sampling distribution of the sample proportion? Assume the population proportion is 98% defective free.
-The managers want to know what the probability is to have 200 or less defect-free lawn mowers if the supply go 50,000 lawn mowers is 98% defective free? What is this probability?
-Find the probability that the sample proportion would be within +-2% around the population proportion. Assume the population proportion is 98% defective free.
